I pledge today...

One of my favorite parts of the day is my morning meeting. You can teach so many skills, sing songs, read a daily chit chat letter, and share ideas with one another. At the beginning of each meeting, the children recite a class pledge (we recite the Pledge of Allegiance as an entire school during our morning announcements). I found this pledge years ago and have used it when I taught first grade and now kindergarten. I print it out in poster format and laminate it. I found the poem on the CanTeach website. Clip art is from DJ Inkers. Here it is for you to use and enjoy!
